Devin Matthew Kelley was 14 years old and lived in the far east side of El Paso TX. He passed away recently and the time of death was marked at 17:06 on November 10th 2017. Devin spent 10 years of his life in Germany attending a Private Christian Academy and home schooled by his mother. He moved to the El Paso area in July of 2015 where he attended public school for the first time in his life. After spending his 7th and 8th grade years attending Puentes Middle School, Devin fell in love with the band and learning how to make beautiful music come to life with his Clarinet the his Bass Clarinet. The following year Devin was extremely excited to be joining the Pebble Hills High School marching band. He dedicated more time and effort to the marching band than I’ve seen him do to anything else in his short life. Devin was an innocent spirited person who valued friendship and loyalty to a level that most teenagers can’t comprehend. He loved easily and that meant he was easily hurt in return. We feel very privileged to be able to call Devin our son. We would rather have had him for 14 years in our life then never at all. He is survived by his mother, father, sister, grandparents, great-grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins. The viewing will be held at Evergreen East Funeral Home at 12400 Montana Thursday 16 November 2017 from 4PM-8PM. The viewing is open to the public.
