Dorothy I White

Dorothy Ida White passed away with her family by her side on November 14, 2012. Dorothy White was a long time housewife, employee of the El Paso Times and Herald Post. She was the senior “Kid Check” employee for Chuck E Cheese in the United States. She received the award for “Outstanding Older Worker” in Texas in 2000. Dorothy White was a long time Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader in El Paso. She was a member of the Yellow Jackets Dance group and the Jolly Elders. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rufus White, Mother Ollie Lee Jones and Father Willie Ponnell Hair. Dorothy is survived by her brother, James Hair, her daughters Bonita Mireles (Robert), and Sandra Weisbarth, her son Clay White (Jonni), her grand children Tony Mireles, Dawnell Mireles, Kendra Weisbarth, Kelly Snyder, David Weisbarth II, William and Christopher White. She is also survived by eight great grand children. Funeral services for Dorothy White will be held on Monday, November 26, 2012 at the Martin Funeral Home at 3839 Montana. Services will begin at 10 am. The viewing will be on Sunday, November 25, 2012 from 5 to 9 pm. She will be buried at Ft. Bliss Cemetery.
