Edward “Eddy” Gomez, 54 passed away surrounded by his family on September 18, 2011. He is survived by his mother, Dolores Gomez and his brother, Richard Gomez (Wife Elsa) , his sister Patricia Salcido. He is also survived and will be greatly missed by many nephews & nieces, grandnephews & grandnieces. Eddy proudly served in the U.S. Army as an Airborne Ranger during 1980-83. Family & friends are invited to share prayers at his visitation which is being held on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home Central, 3839 Montana Ave. with a Vigil at 7:30 P.M. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 9:45 A.M. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Interment at Ft. bliss National Cemetery.Arrangements under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel Martin Central, El Paso, TX.
