Elvira Ruiz Torres went to join her husband of 69 years Cet Torres on January 6, 2019. Elvira led a full life with her husband enjoying the love of her son, Abraham. Elvira was born in Juarez, Mexico to Pedro and Socorro Ruiz. The Ruiz family was composed of seven brothers and seven sisters. Her son Abraham, daughter-in-law Mary, grandson Adrian, and his wife, Anastasia, Kathryn, and her husband, Jack and their daughter Willa Rae, Vanessa, Laura and her daughter Aerianna. As well as her sisters Socorro, Cruz, Josephina, brothers Manuel, and Oscar and numerous nephews and nieces. Visitation will be heldThursday, January 17, 2019 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with the vigil beginning at 7:00pm at Funeraria del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, January, 18, 2019 at 9:30am at Our Lady of the Light Catholic Church, 4700 Delta Dr. with the interment to follow at 11:00am at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
