He devoted 35 years of service to El Paso Independent School District where he taught at Burleson Elementary and Henderson Middle School. He loved spending time with family and friends and telling amazing stories from his childhood days in Terlingua, Marathon, and Van Horn, Texas. He also loved watching Notre Dame football.
He was preceded in death by his parents Antonio and Guadalupe Santiago and siblings Raul Santiago, Antonio Santiago,Guadalupe Santiago, Maria Santiago, Sostenes Santiago, and Roberto Santiago.
He is survived by his wife, Eva Santiago, daughters Elizabeth Le Blanc, Marisela Santiago, grandchildren Lauren Le Blanc, Christopher Le Blanc, and Krystal Le Blanc. He will be dearly missed, but we are all grateful for the time we had with him.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Funeraria del Angel Central - 3839 Montana Ave. El Paso, Texas 79903. Funeral mass of Christian burial will be Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 11:30 am at St. Raphael Catholic Church 2301 Zanzibar, El Paso, Texas 79925. A Rite of Committal to follow at 1:00 pm at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery - 5200 Fred Wilson Ave. El Paso, Texas 79906.
