Ester Hernandez

Ester Hernandez, a beloved member of the El Paso, Texas community, passed away on February 17, 2026, at the age of 89. Born in Mexico on June 25, 1936, Ester lived a life full of love, dedication, and service.

She married Miguel Hernandez on December 10, 1956, and together they built a loving family. Ester worked as an operator at Levi Strauss, where she was known for her diligence and commitment. Her passion for cooking and arts and crafts was well-known among her family and friends.

A proud and loyal member of Templo Fortaleza Divina Christian Church, Ester was deeply involved in her community under the leadership of Pastor Raul Morini. Her faith and dedication to her church were central to her life.

Ester is survived by her children Ruben Hernandez, Norma Santaella, Alvaro Hernandez, Miguel Hernandez Jr., Alfredo Hernandez and her son-in-law Baltazar Santaella. She leaves behind a legacy cherished by her grandchildren Ivette Arispe, Bernice Pricilla, Raven Nichole, Alejandra, Miguel Angel, and Alvaro Jose Hernandez, Alis Nicole Santaella, Marco Emiliano Hernandez and her great-grandchildren Alexis & Johnny Perez and Naylani Hernandez. She will be dearly missed by her siblings Alvaro (†), Alfredo, and Jose Luis Chavez Campos. With her passing, she has been reunited with her son Salvador A. Hernandez and her beloved husband Miguel Hernandez, Sr.

Services to honor Ester's life will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Evergreen East, located at 12400 East Montana, El Paso, TX 79938. A visitation will take place on February 24, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, followed by a chapel service at 6:00 pm. Another visitation will occur on February 25, 2026, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, with a committal service from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm.

Ester Hernandez will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the deep love she held for her family.

Ester Hernández, de El Paso, Texas, falleció el 17 de febrero de 2026 a la edad de 89 años. Nacida en México el 25 de junio de 1936, Ester vivió una vida llena de amor, dedicación y servicio.

Se casó con Miguel Hernández el 10 de diciembre de 1956 y juntos formaron una familia amorosa. Su pasión por la cocina y las manualidades era bien conocida entre su familia y amigos. Ester trabajó como operadora en Levi Strauss, conocida por su diligencia y compromiso.

Orgullosa y leal miembro de la Iglesia Cristiana Templo Fortaleza Divina, Ester participio bajo el liderazgo del pastor Raúl Morini. Su fe y dedicación a su iglesia fueron fundamentales en su vida.

A Ester le sobreviven sus hijos Rubén Hernández, Norma Santaella, Álvaro Hernández, Miguel Hernandez Jr., Alfredo Hernandez, y su yerno Baltazar Santaella. Deja un legado apreciado por sus nietos Ivette Arispe, Bernice Pricilla, Raven Nichole, Alejandra, Miguel Ángel, Álvaro José Hernandez, Alis Nicole Santaella, Marco Emiliano Hernández, y sus bisnietos Alex y Johnny Pérez y Naylani Hernández. Su espíritu vivirá a través de sus hermanos Álvaro (†), Alfredo y José Luis Chávez Campos. Tras su fallecimiento, se ha reunido con su hijo Salvador A. Hernández y su querido esposo Miguel Hernández, Sr.

El servicio en honor a Ester se llevará a cabo en la Funeraria Del Angel Evergreen East, ubicada en 12400 East Montana, El Paso, TX 79938. El velorio se llevará a cabo el 24 de febrero de 2026, de 15:00 a 20:00 h, seguido de un servicio religioso a las 18:00 h. Se realizará otro velatorio el 25 de febrero de 2026, de 11:30 a. m. a 1:00 p. m., con un servicio de entierro de 1:30 p. m. a 2:00 p. m.
