Francisco Puentes, 64, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2014. He was born on July 30, 1950 in Mesquite, NM. He graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso, with a degree in Mathematics and Sociology. He served 4 years in the United States Navy and retired from White Sands Missile Range after 27 years, as a computer scientist. Francisco is survived by his wife, Carmen Puentes, his mother, Maria Luisa Puentes, 2 sisters, 2 brothers, and countless beloved nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5pm to 9pm Friday August 8, 2014 at Martin Funeral Home Central followed by a 7pm Memorial Service. A private burial will be held at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
