Gilberto Mancha Gonzalez, age 73, passed away on August 17, 2026. He was born on January 18, 1953. Raised in El Paso, Texas, Gilberto later moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he spent the majority of his life and built a community of friends and loved ones.
Gilberto lived a life defined by hard work, generosity, and devotion to his family. He was a man who loved working with his hands. An avid woodworker, he found great joy in creation and took immense pride in helping others with construction projects. Whether building something new or offering his time and skill to support a friend or family member, his dedication and craftsmanship left a lasting impact on everyone around him.
He is survived by his beloved children, Marisela Gonzalez, Marisol Gonzalez, Brenda Gonzalez, and Alex Gonzalez. He also leaves behind his dear siblings, Manuel Gonzalez, Elvia Gonzalez, and Gabriel Gonzalez, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him deeply.
A service to celebrate Gilberto's life will be held at Funeraria del Angel Central, located at 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79903, on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a Rosary at 7:00 pm.
