

She was a proud military wife for 28 years, raising four children in multiple posts around the world. She was a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was an animal lover who raised multiple cats and dogs, leaving behind her faithful companion, Pepper.
She was a faithful member of Grace Lutheran Church, 9301 Diana Drive.
Survived by 4 children; Diane (Jim) Slayton, Colonel (Ret) Ted (Andrea) Doederlein, Tommy Doederlein, and Julie (Tom) Stanton; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband of 54 years CW4 (Ret) Ted Doederlein, brother Gerhardt Heine, mother Anna and father Oscar Heine, and grandson Grant Doederlein.
Visitation will be Monday, March 3, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. at Funeraria del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave. El Paso, Texas 79903. Graveside service will be Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave. El Paso, Texas 79906.
Pallbearers: Jim Slayton, Bryson Cheak, Quinn Doederlein, Zach Roberson, Sterling Jones, and Tom Stanton.
