Guadalupe M Wratchford

Guadalupe Wratchford (Medina), 75, passed away peacefully, Monday June 27, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones in her hometown of El Paso, Texas. Guadalupe was born on March 17, 1947, to Othon Sr. and Paz Medina. She dedicated 30 years of her life to the Ysleta Independent School District of El Paso, Texas. Anybody who knew her knows that Lupe was a force to be reckoned with and loved her for her strong and feisty personality. Lupe was a woman of faith, with a love for dogs and gardening, and she loved fiercely and unapologetically.

Guadalupe is preceded in death by her parents, Othon Medina Sr. and Paz Medina (Arellano), brothers Angel Medina and Heriberto Medina, and sister Concepcion Clark. She is survived by her four children: Fredrick A. LeBlanc, Michael A. LeBlanc, Jeannie Thomas, and Roberta Wratchford. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren: Craig A. LeBlanc, Danielle R. Stoner, Ivonne A. LeBlanc, Susana K. DeMarco, Laura A. Guereque, Joshue S. Guereque, Rebecca Valverde, Kevin C. Guereque, Samantha Guereque, Mia E. LeBlanc, Genevieve P. Thomas, Aiden M. LeBlanc, Evan R. Thomas, and nine great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Robert Medina, Othon Medina Jr., Rafael Medina, Hector Medina, Alicia Blair, and Altagracia Quintana.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with vigil service beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 8, 2022, at Funeraria Del Angel East located at 12400 Montana Ave. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Guardian Angel Catholic Church located at 3021 Frutas Ave. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery East located at 12400 Montana Ave. A gathering of family and friends will be held immediately following the burial service to celebrate Guadalupe’s life at 12732 Tuscan Sun Ct. El Paso, Texas, 79938.
