

Guillermo Sierra (Memo), 74, passed away November 20, 2012. He retired from El Paso Water Utilities where he worked as a crane operator for 25 years. A life-long resident of El Paso, Memo was a loving, devoted husband, father and grandfather. He graduated from Bowie High School (Class of 1956) where he was active in band. He was a trumpet aficionado and a long-time member of the Blue Kings Band. He loved sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys, UTEP football and sports played by his children and grand-children.
Memo was preceded in death by his parents, Basilio Sierra and Julia Sierra. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Graciela R. Sierra, son, Basilio Sierra (Martha), daughters, Magdalena Sierra, Edna DeFrancesca (Patrick), and Norma Sierra (Nicole). Grandchildren Michael Perez, Andrea Sierra, Steven Sierra, Jilian Grace Sierra-Notarianni and Liliana Elisabeth Sierra-Notarianni.

Viewing will be held from 4pm to 9pm Friday, November 23, 2012 with Rosary at 7 pm at Del Angel (Martin Central) Funeral Home, 3839 Montana. Mass will be at Santo Nino de Atocha 210 S.
