Ida Garza

On the evening of December 22, 2015, our beloved mother, sister/aunt Ida was taken from us suddenly to be with the Lord. Ida was 70 years old. Ida was born on August 5, 1945 in the small western town of El Paso, Tx. She was the 4th child, and 3rd daughter of Joaquin & Victoria M. Landeros. A proud graduate of EP Technical High School, Ida was a long time resident of El Paso. Ida will always be remembered for her warm spirit, sense of humor, unconditional love for her son, and her bond with her brothers and sisters. Ida loved spending her time with her pups, playing card games with the family, and keeping in witty conversation with all of her relatives in and out of town. She is survived by her son Miguel J. Garza, her brothers; Ernesto (Terri) and Joaquin Landeros Jr., sisters; Teresa Landeros, Gloria Trevino, and Cecilia Hernandez, her nieces and nephews; Diana, Sandy, Ernie, Vickie, Gabriel, Anthony, Roman, Robin, Mary, Jaime, Eli, Ava, and Gilbert. Visitation will be held at Martin Funeral Home Central, 3839 Montana Ave.. on Monday December 28th from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with the Vigil at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 10:00 A.m. at St. Raphael Catholic Church. Interment at a later date.
