Our deepest condolences to Aunt Gloria and cousins.   We are so sorry to hear of Uncle Chuy's passing.  He was such a good man.  We loved him very much.  We have so many memories of him and family.  When we first bought our home, Uncle Chuy came over to help us.   He put tile in our kitchen and porch.  He loved helping the family and we will be forever greatful to him for his generosity.  We will always remember him smiling and happy.  He loved his family very much.  We will miss  you Uncle Chuy.  To the family we are so sorry that we can not be there in person but our hearts are with you and we are praying that God give you strength and peace for your great loss.



Mr Mena RIP sir it was honor to have met and get to know you  since I was a teenager growing up in the old neighborhood I have great memories being at the house with everyone In your family just hanging out with George, Ralph, Greg and thank you for always welcoming to your house. I still remember we were watching TV. Me you and Ralph  it was horse racing and you wrote down on a piece of paper the actual winner race finished and just like you predicted Ralph and I remember that. Mr Mena god bless you and your family Rest In Peace sir. 

Chuy Mena, mi tio y Compadre. My tia Gloria and Uncle Chuy are Baptismal God Parents to my son Andrew, mi tia and tio have always been very charitable, always ready with a helping hand. Humble people, always ready to be of service, an example to all. Quite the character, very funny relaying life’s experiences, gentle but stern. When I was a young boy he took me fishing for catfish at the canal and to the showers at Armijo Park. I returned from Vietnam very troubled and he listened and gave me sound advise. Remember that hardships make you stronger, if you have never had bad days there will never be accomplishment. His favorite saying “old too soon, smart too late.” Adios tio, you will always be in my thoughts and prayers, pray for me, David.

The fondest childhood memories,i have of my father,when i was three years old,mydad was dating gloria,and my dad asked me,if he should marry gloria,and one of my aunts told me to say yes to him,for he wanted more children.So i said yes daddy, and i remember when he got married to her. I remember he married her in the catholic church she was all in white,and i was with one of my aunts,and after a little while,my dad asked me if i would live with them,i was only a child,love you daddy,baruch ashem,hashem baruch shamayim,emet.

Dearest daddy,you will forever be in my heart.  I remember when you would come over to get me from my mom house and take me to my grandmas house,such wonderful memories,all my uncles, and my aunts,and cousins all loving and playing games,around tia filas home,also the picnics and baseball games we played at washington park. We would always talk about life,andloving god,love you dearly papa,i am your oldest R.i.p papa,amein.  daughter,Tirsa,and conrad,also my loving children,andy and ben,your first identical twins and conrad  jr.,and j.r. orozco aramburu,and my gradchildren,tony,katy,emily,chloe,christopher,and our newest granddaughter, avelyn orozco,will miss you very much

We are very saddened by my uncles passing.My uncle was the Mena family historian so many, many history lessons were learned by all his Mena family.  Will be greatly missed. My uncle loved spending time with his three sisters, Rafaela M. Flores, Mary Garcia (Martin) and Amelia Mena, In addition to his three sisters my uncle has his only brother Gene Mena (Velia).  His six brothers - Candelario, Roberto, Nemesio, Jose, and Enrique will welcome him  in Heaven.  Our deepest condolences to  our Aunt Gloria, cousins Letty, Patsy, Julie, Ralph, George and Gregory.   Rest in peace and perpetual light shine upon you.  

When I think of you grandpa, I will always remember your warm smile. You always shared so much wisdom with us and happily welcomed us into your heart! My mom (Tirsa) always spoke wonderful things about you, she loves you so very very much!!! We will never forget you, we love you always! May you Rest In Peace. My sincere condolences to Mrs. Mena and her family.  Mr. Mena had a heart of gold and he and Gloria always welcomed us to their home with open arms.  Mr. Mena will be missed very much.  God Bless you and your family. May he Rest In Paradise.  

Una pequena nota para expresar mis sinceras condolencias a la familia, en especial a su esposa Gloria por 60 anos.  Este fue un hito logrado por los dos.  Esta vida juntos fue interrumpida por la muerte, pero nuestro Creador ha prometido que vivir para siempre se puede lograr.  Su hijo Jesucristo ha sido autorizado para resucitar a nuestros seres queridos.
Esto lo leemos en Juan 5:28,29.  As que queridos miembros de la familia, recuerden todas las veces que compartieron con Chuy, como se preocupaba por todos y el amor que mostro a todos.  No se desanimen.  Chuy esta dormido en la muerte, con perspectivas de vida futura en manos de nuestro padre celestial.  Se les anima a que sean fuertes.  De nuevo, lamento su perdida.
