With hearts full of love and faith in God’s eternal promises, we celebrate the life of Jesus Ochoa, a devoted husband, proud father, and faithful Catholic man whose life was a gift to all who knew him. He returned to his heavenly home, surrounded by the love of his family.
For 25 wonderful years, Jesus shared a beautiful marriage with his beloved wife, Elisa Cumplido. Together, they built a home filled with laughter, faith, and deep, enduring love—a partnership that reflected God’s grace and strength.
Jesus’s greatest joy in life was being a father. He was immensely proud of his children, Jesus Ochoa Jr. and Emily Ochoa, who brought light and purpose to his days. His love for his children knew no limits. He loved them deeply and guided them with wisdom, kindness, and an unwavering faith that will forever live in their hearts.
Jesus lived with a quiet joy, a strong faith, and a heart full of generosity. He was a man who found beauty in life’s simple blessings—a good conversation, family gathered around the table, a Sunday Mass, and the laughter of his children, wife, and family. He gave freely, loved deeply, and lived fully. His life was rich with simple blessings, and he never took them for granted.
A man of quiet strength and deep devotion, Jesus Ochoa lived each day with heartfelt gratitude for his faith, his family, and his country. Rooted in his strong Catholic beliefs, he walked through life with humility, integrity, and purpose. He was a proud and patriotic American, deeply thankful for the freedoms and opportunities his country provided. Jesus cherished the values of hard work, service, and unity, and he carried those principles into every aspect of his life; always striving to help others, lead by example.
Jesus found special joy in life’s meaningful traditions, especially during Christmas and Independence Day, his two favorite holidays. Christmas filled his heart with peace and spiritual reflection — a sacred time to celebrate the birth of Christ and share love with those closest to him. Independence Day, often lovingly called the Fourth of July, stirred his patriotic spirit. He cherished the chance to celebrate freedom, enjoy fireworks, and gather with family in gratitude for the country he so dearly loved. These two holidays reflected what mattered most to Jesus: his faith and his freedom — both of which shaped the way he lived, loved, and led his life.
Though we will miss his gentle spirit and warm smile, we take comfort knowing he is now in the presence of our Lord, reunited with loved ones who have gone before him. His life was a reflection of God’s love, and his memory will continue to inspire us every day.
We invite all who knew and loved Jesus to join us in a joyful celebration of his life and faith.
A Rosary will be prayed in loving memory of Jesus on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 9:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM, both held at Our Lady of the Light Catholic Church, 4700 Delta Dr, El Paso, TX.
The Casting Ceremony will be held at a later date with close family to honor his final wishes in a moment of quiet reflection and love.
