

Jose A. Cubillos, 89, of El Paso, TX, died April 13, 2016. Son of Benjamin and Guadalupe Cubillos. He was a loving husband, beloved father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather and loyal friend. He passed away with his loving family and friends by his side at his home. Preceded by wife Sofia and daughter Dee Booth. He is survived by his sons Ernie Valdez, (Theresa), Hector Valdez, Rudy Valdez, (Vicky), Marty Cubillos and Irma Cubillos. His brother Enrique, and his sister Olga. Tony had the blessing of having 12 grand-children and several great-grandchildren. He was a veteran from the U. S. Army serving in the Korean War. Tony was a devoted and loyal employee of El Paso Electric Co. for over 30 years. He was a dedicated Dallas Cowboy Fan. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. He was loved by all those who knew him and captured each and every one of our hearts, always having such a great sense of humor in life. We love you Dad, we love you Tony, rest in Gods loving hands and know that all is well. One of his last wishes was "thank all the doctors". Especially Dr. Spier and his staff (Antonia and Ken), Dr. Garza, Dr. Castro, Dr. Johnson, Dr. Palacios, Choice Home Healthcare, Global Hospice, and Albertsons Pharmacy staff on Montana. Last wish “tell all my family and friends that I love them".
Visitation 5-9pm. Thursday April 21, 2016 at Martin Funeral Home Central, 3839 Montana with a rosary 7 pm . Funeral Mass April 22, 2016 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 12:30 pm, followed by Internment at Ft. Bliss Cemetery.
