Julieta was the first born daughter of Antonio and Viviana Venegas. She graduated from Riverside High School and continued her studies at UTEP receiving a bachelor's degree in Social Work. She was passionate about helping others and did so by becoming a Bilingual Education teacher. She worked for Clint ISD for over 20 years. She was a devout Catholic and an active member of Little Flower Parish where she was a catechist for many years and the director of the lectors. She enjoyed dancing, cooking and having get togethers. Most of all she loved God and her family more than words can express. She had the kindest heart and the best smile.
She is preceded in death by her parents. She leaves behind a loving family, including her loving husband Patrick J. Scanlon. Her brothers Manny Venegas(Rosie), Miguel Venegas(Sandra), and sister Gina Pichardo(Joe). Her children Jessica Ann Navariz (Mel), P.J., Raymond A.(Angeline), and her grandsons Zachary J. & Zekiel A. Navariz, Russell J. & Theodore J. Scanlon. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, friends and students who she loved so much and lives she touched.
Services will be held on Saturday, May 24th, 2025 at Little Flower Catholic Church 171 Polo Inn Rd.
Rosary at 2:30 and mass to follow immediately after.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Little Flower Building Fund can be made in her name
