June Loretta Shaffer

June passed away at home on November 15, 2015. She is survived by sons, Oliver Joseph and Randall Murray Shaffer, daughter, Sherlynn A. Muckelroy, grandchildren, Brian Jr., And Patrick Grady, Kristy Dixon, Jacob Shaffer, Cameron And Brooke Shaffer, great grandchildren, Brian III, Jeffrey, Padraic, Kellyn, Rhett, Bo, Priscilla, Nephews, Bill, David, Rick, Rob, Niece, Carol Ann. Preceded in death by her parents Raymond Joseph and Sally Reba Murray and her husband, Oliver Juadon “Bud” Shaffer. June was born and raised in El Paso, TX where she graduated from Austin High School and The University Of Texas At El Paso. In the past, June was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority, served on The Sun Carnival Coronation Decoration Committee, designed and built sets for Austin High School’s “Austin In Action “ prom, was a Girl Scout Leader and a member of several Bridge Clubs where she enjoyed the people as much as the game. June will be remembered as a best friend to several, a good friend to many and friendly to all. She has touched so many hearts and will be missed by family and those who had the privilige to know her. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Central, 3839 Montana Ave. Interment at a later date.
