

She was married to Juan Carmona, and together they built a loving home filled with warmth and joy. Laura was the proud mother of five children: Magdalena, Laura, Alma Karina Mendez (Raul Mendez), Fatima Bañuelos (Manuel Bañuelos), and Juan Carmona (Nancy Carmona). She cherished her role as a grandmother to Cynthia Carmona, Julio A. Rubio, Diana Ortiz, Victoriah Bañuelos, Gabriela Bañuelos, Valeria Corral, Gabriel Carmona, Amanda Herrera, JD Herrera, and Sienna Mendez. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Zoe Rubio, Jahziel Romero, Emma Ruiz, Aria Diaz, Aaron Carmona, Rush Guarascí, Catalina Corral, Baby Guarascí, Sage Armani Rubio, Ezekiel Favela, Titus Rubio, Nick Rubio and Andrew Carmona, Manuel L. Bañuelos.
Throughout her life, Laura was known for her kindness, resilience, and deep devotion to her family. She was a cornerstone of strength, offering love and support to everyone around her. She will be remembered for her wisdom, her unwavering love, and the joy she brought to those she touched.
Laura’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, and she will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to experience her warmth.
Visitation for Laura will be from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Funeraria Del Angel - Evergreen East, located at 12400 E. Montana Ave., El Paso 79938. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm in the Angel Chapel of Evergreen East Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be from 1:30 - 2:00 pm, on Friday, February 21, 2025 at Evergreen Cemetery East, also located at 12400 E. Montana Ave., El Paso 79938.
