Linda C. Ochoa

Linda C. Ochoa was born in El Paso, TX., May 11, 1950. Linda passed away on September 15, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was a lifelong resident of El Paso. A graduate from Austin High School in 1968. Linda attended UTEP in pursuit of Early Education.

Linda loved working with children. Linda was an employee of the University of Texas at El Paso, and El Paso Children's Day Care as well as El Paso Independent School District where she retired. Linda and her husband Jose L. Ochoa Sr. were married for 46 years. Their marriage is what love stories are made of. Linda was a lifelong member of Emmanuel Methodist Church. Linda's favorite place was the Sacramento Conference Center for family camp. Linda had 3 living children and spent her life devoted to them. As well as she was looked at as mother by many more. From a devoted mother she became a very devoted grandma to 6 living grandchildren. Linda will be truly missed by family, friends, and all who were fortunate to meet her.

Linda is survived by her husband Jose Luis Ochoa Sr., and her children Jose Jr. (Yvonne), Oscar (Michelle), and her daughter Sarah Marie (Jeremy). Also, by her grandchildren Kathy Marie, Julius, Victoria, Jordan, Scarlett, and Tristan. Her siblings: Eldemira Galceran (Emilio), Ruth Rosas, Marcelino (Donna), as well as a brother-in-law Cruz Sr. (Alicia), and sister-in-law Rosalia Ochoa (Javier). As well as many nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her son Jerimiah Ochoa, her grandson Matrix Cole Ochoa, her mother and father, Refugio (Mendoza) Castillo and Marcelino Castillo. As well as her sister Bertha Garcia and nephew Michael Carr. She was also preceded in death by her beloved dog Petey.
