Lucila Fernandez Vasquez, 86, Our Beloved Mom went home to the Lord on March 11, 2013. She's preceded in death by her husband, Miguel G. Vasquez, son Antonio F. Vasquez, and grandson David Anthony Hijar. She is survived by 4 daughters, Sylvia Hijar (David), Leticia Vasquez, Rose Marie Stanwood (Benjamin), and Annette O'Leary, also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Lucila was a homemaker and a very good story teller. She would have told you about picking cotton, about going to dances in Guadalupe, Mx. or cruising from Socorro, TX to San Elizario. She will be missed tremendously. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 14, 2013 with a Rosary at 10:30 a.m. at FDA Martin Central Chapel. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Guardian Angel Catholic Church with Interment at Ft.
