Nuestra querida madre, Luz Cecilia Barrio, quien falleció el jueves 9 de febrero de 2023 es recordada por haber dedicado su vida a ser una esposa, madre, y abuela devota. Su mayor alegría era preparar comidas deliciosas para su familia usando las recetas de su madre. A lo largo de nuestra vida, Mamá nos enseñó lecciones importantes y nos curó nuestras dolencias. Nos brindó una vida hermosa, poniendo siempre a la familia primero. Nos amó a todos por igual y nos dio todo a su alcancé.
Mamá y se ha reunido con su amado esposo, Ernesto M. Barrio y su hija Laura Barrio. Le sobreviven sus hijos Ernesto (Rosy), Alejandro (Graciela) y Javier (Nilda) así como también sus nietos Daniela, Javier, Ernesto, Jesús, Julián, Alejandro y Sophia Victoria. También le sobreviven sus hermanos Carlos, Ignacio y Luis.
Guardaremos como tesoro los recuerdos de su amabilidad, sus consejos, y sus comidas caseras. Nuestra madre fue una mujer maravillosa y su legado vivirá a través de todos y cada uno de nosotros. Descansa en paz, Madre.
La velación se llevará a cabo el martes 21 de febrero de 2023 a las 10 a.m. en la Iglesia Católica de San Lorenzo seguido por el santo rosario a las 10:30 a.m. La misa fúnebre será a las 12 del mediodía seguida por la inhumación a la 1:30 p.m. en el cementerio Evergreen East.
In loving memory of our mother, Luz Cecilia Barrio, who passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 9, 2023. Luz dedicated her life to being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her greatest joy was cooking delicious meals from her mother’s recipes and sharing them with her family. Our mother taught us important lessons, healed our ailments and provided a beautiful life for us; she always put family first. Mom loved us all equally and gave us all she could. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ernesto M. Barrio and daughter, Laura Barrio. She is survived by her sons, Ernesto (Rosy), Alejandro (Graciela), and Javier (Nilda); grandchildren, Daniela, Javier, Ernesto, Jesus, Julian, Alejandro, and Sophia Victoria; brothers, Carlos, Ignacio and Luis. We will forever cherish the memories of her kindness, advice, and home-cooked meals. Our mother was a wonderful human being, and her legacy will live on through each and every one of us. Rest in peace, Mother. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at 10 a.m. at San Lorenzo Catholic Church with a rosary at 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 12 noon. Rite of Committal will be at 1:30 p.m. at Evergreen East Cemetery.
