

Manuel “Lito” Lujan, 77, of El Paso, TX passed away on December 7, 2013. He served the U.S. Army for 24 years in the 101st Airborne and 82nd Airborne Divisions. He will always be remembered with a Coors light in his hand and telling a funny joke. He had a smile that could light the room. He is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Maria Lujan he, leaves behind: 4 children, Corrine (Hershey) Jacquez, David (Barbara) Lujan, Patricia Lujan, and Margaret Lujan, 8 grandchildren Erik Clayberger, Angela Sperber, Jessica Payne, Lucas Garner, Carmelita Hernandez, Jeremy Garner, Daniel Wright, and Natalie Longoria and 11 great grand children, as well as his brother Robert Lujan and 2 sisters Maria Landa and Jesusita Talamantes. He is also survived by his loving companion Delfina Garner. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Martin Funeral Home Central with a 7:00pm vigil. Funeral Mass will be held 9:45am Friday, December 13, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
