Marco Daniel Viscarra, 24, a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas, left this world on December 9, 2022. He was a boy scout in Troop 413 and participated in the El Paso Fire Department Explorer Program through high school. Marco was a 2016 graduate of Harmony Science Academy. He became a Certified Restorative Nursing Assistant shortly after graduating and worked at St. Giles Nursing Home. He loved caring for his patients and working with the elderly. Marco attended Western Technical College and received his Associate of Occupational Studies in Refrigeration and HVAC Technology in 2021. He was excited to learn and grow in his field. Marco always loved taking things apart and figuring out how they worked. His love of all genres of music led him to discover music production and he had a passion for it like no other. Marco was self-taught and scientific with his approach to music. His production style was very complex and his beats were always very energetic and unpredictable. As his close friend, Sergio, would say, “His music was organized chaos.” He loved going to concerts with friends and family and even sometimes by himself if nobody cared for the act that was performing. That’s how much he loved music. He loved so many different artists, but his favorite was Prince, even going so far as to get a tattoo of Prince’s symbol. He was the eldest and cherished son of Mark Viscarra and Natalie Martinez and older brother to Samuel Viscarra and Diego Viscarra. Also deeply mourning the loss of their beloved grandson are his grandparents, Hector and Terry Martinez, Raul “Ted” Minjarez and Becky Minjarez, Yolanda Viscarra; his uncles and aunts, Gilbert and Cynthia Martinez, Chris and Leslie Martinez, Ron and Monica Minjarez, Robbie Minjarez and Juan Pablo Gutierrez, Ray and Alicia Minjarez, Elyse and Ian Freemire, Russ and Lexi Minjarez; and his cousins, Michael, Maya, Andy, Sophia, Michelle, Jake, Ronnie, Isaiah, Daniel and Clementine.

Marco had a beautiful soul and everyone that knew him loved him. He always marched to the beat of his own drum and that was what everyone loved about him. He touched many lives in the short time that he was here with us, and he will be greatly missed.
