Maria Miranda (Licha) Avila 71, went to eternal rest with our Lord on Monday, February 10, 2025. Licha was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her. Licha adored her grandbabies, and it showed by nurturing them over the years. She was always the life of the party with her dance moves, infectious laughter, and funny jokes. Her favorite part of the day was watching novelas, scratching lottery tickets, and enjoying a cold fresh Big Gulp to quench her thirst. She is preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe and Efren Miranda, brothers Efren Miranda Jr, Chuy Miranda, son David Avila Jr, and godson John Howlett. She is survived by children, Cecilia (Gil), Elizabeth (Aaron) and Benjamin (Yoselin). Grandchildren, Triston, AB, Beli, Gabriella, Anali, Clarissa, Orlando, Benji Jr., Sisters Yoli and Bertha, brothers, Gilbert, Alex, Rick, David, and Stevie. She is also survived by uncles, aunts, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation for Maria will be from 4:00 to 9:00 pm, on Monday, February 24, 2025 at Funeraria Del Angel - Evergreen East, located at 12400 E. Montana Ave., El Paso 79938; with Rosary/Vigil Services being held at 7:00 pm in the Angel Chapel of Evergreen East Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am, on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church, 12200 Vista Del Sol Dr., El Paso, 79936 followed by the interment/committal at Evergreen Cemetery East at 11:00 am, also located at 12400 E. Montana Ave., El Paso 79938.

Pallbearers are Benjamin Avila, Aaron De La Riva, Steven Miranda, Albert Mercado III, Corrie Goranson, Patrick Goranson, Triston Williams and Danny Romero. Honorary Pallbearers Orlando De La Riva and Benjamin Avila Jr.
