Maria Veronica Pulido, age 51, of Horizon City, Texas passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021. Maria was born October 14, 1969 in Mexico. Maria was a very loving and caring person her whole life. She always put everyone's happiness before her own. She would also put everyone's needs before hers. In cases when we would need to take care of her she wanted to take care of us instead. She always carried a vibe that even when you had a bad day she would make it better. Her laughter was very contagious and made you smile even when you didn't want to. She was very open minded and unbiased, especially when it came to advice. No matter who you were, she would give you the best advice and make you see the situation through a different lens.
She had this comforting vibe that made you always feel welcome. Whether it was to our house or just to approach her. She had a charisma that was unmatched to anyone else we have met. She was a very kind and brave soul in this world. No matter how hard times got she always found a way to get through it and she never let anything get the best of her. She always gave it her all, never gave up, and never let anyone know when she was struggling because she never showed it in her expressions. For instance, when she was battling with cancer the first two times, if you saw her she looked good, happy, and just enjoying life without knowing that she was going through something so tough.
Even when she got cancer for the third time, she was on the hospital bed trying to smile and laugh and make the best out of every little moment we had with her. She was the definition of a selfless person. We learned so much from her and we will cherish all those lessons and memories forever. She really was and will continue to be the rock of our family. The purity in her soul, the kindness in her heart, and the loyalty in her thoughts and actions were what made her the greatest mother and wife. We are blessed to have had her for as long as we did in our lives, and she will forever live in our hearts and will never be forgotten. From here to heaven and back we love you and miss you so much.
