Maria Lucia Rodriguez “Lucy” 91, a life-long resident of El Paso, passed away Friday, February 24, 2017. She was a loving mother, mother in law, and grandmother, who gave unselfishly to her family and will be missed enormously. She is survived by son, Ricardo J. Rodriguez and grandchildren Ricardo Jr., Luis, Javi, Victoria and daughter in law, Claudia, the daughter she never had. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ricardo Rodriguez of 61 years. Thank you for your love, kind heart and the happiness you gave us. Although our hearts are filled with sorrow, we thank God for having allowed you to be part of our lives and know that you are no longer suffering. We love you Emita and we will miss you. Rest in peace.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 1st from 5 to 9pm with Rosary at 7pm at Martin Funeral Home Central. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, March 2nd at 12:15pm at Our Lady of the Light Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
