With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Martha A. Lujan on October 11, 2023 (age 86), our loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and cherished friend to all whose lives she touched. She was preceded in death by her husband Luis Alberto Lujan and is now reunited with her parents, Ignacio and Belen Arias, sister Lilia Arias, brothers Antonio and Richard Arias. Martha was the beloved mother of Rosie Oliva, Albert Lujan Jr., Steve Lujan, Bella Quiz, and Marsha Johnson. She was a proud grandmother and great-grandmother.
Martha retired from the El Paso Natural Gas Company and served her community by volunteering in various organizations.
Our mother was a source of strength and love for her family and friends. Martha will be dearly missed and forever remembered for her warmth and kindness. Our hearts are heavy with grief, but her spirit will live on in our hearts.
A visitation for Martha will be held Thursday, October 19, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a vigil at 7:00 PM Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, Texas 79903. Funeral mass will occur Friday, October 20, 2023 at 10:30 AM at St Patrick Cathedral, 1118 N Mesa, El Paso, Texas 79902. A committal service will follow at Evergreen East at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 20, 2023 at 12400 Montana Ave, El Paso, Texas 79938.
