Martin Armendariz, born January 30, 1913 to Benita U. and Miguel E. Armendariz in Santa Rosalia, Chihuahua. Preceded in death by his parents, wife Concha of 60 years, sister Candelaria & brother Johnny. Survived by daughters, Lucille Housen (Lee) and Eloise Gonzalez (Robert), 4 grand-daughters, Lisa, Leslie (James), Lourdes and Sara (Billy) also left to cherish his memory are 9 great great grandchildren: Keri, Michael, Heather, Kaitlyn, Alex, Zoe, Zevin, Zophiel and Sophia. Other members include, his siters, Bertha (Joe) Rearick, Luz Armendariz and Susana Tovar. Our Poppy loved history, told wonderful stories and had a dicho for every occasion and enjoyed being surrounded by his family. Visitation will be Sunday, October 24, from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Funeraria Del Angel Martin Central, 3839 Montana Ave., with the Rosary at 6:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, October 25, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
