Nicolas Munoz born September 19, 1935 in Mesilla, New Mexico. Born to Carmen Perez and Jose Munoz. He was preceded in death by his wife Guadalupe Romero Munoz. He had 4 children Aurora Quarve, Nicolas Munoz Jr., Eduardo Munoz, and Guadalupe Costa. He had many great- grandchildren that he got to see and hold. My Dad, Papi to his grandkids was the most intelligent man, I have ever known. Full of common sense, too. He was a very spiritual man and his word was his bond. Also, he was tough, I am talking Clint Eastwood and Charles Bronson tough. He was a gentle gorilla of a man and someone whom I could trust with my life, and those of my children and grandchildren. Anyone would have to go through him. My family and I were blessed to care for him, this last 7 years. He loved to travel with Paul and I to visit our grandchildren. He also loved to go out to eat with us, or just go shopping with me. Our Sunday lunches after mass with my grandkids were happy times for him. He is sorely missed. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 28, 2017 from 5-8pm at Evergreen East Funeral Home with a Vigil/Rosary to begin at 6pm. Scripture Service will begin at 10am Monday May, 29, 2017 at Evergreen East Funeral Home with Interment to follow at Evergreen East Cemetery.
