Nora Collins Najera, 81, died Monday, April 25th, 2016 at the El Paso LTAC Hospital after months of putting up a good fight. Nora was known to march to her own drum and did so until the day she passed.
She is survived by her children Richard C Najera, Susan Najera Lowrance and Mark A Najera and her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved son Frank Fernando Najera Jr. Nora also leaves behind her companion of 37 years Ernie Garcia.
Nora was happiest surrounded by the sounds of a slot machine, spending time with her children and doting on her grand-children. She will be greatly missed.
The family wishes to thank all the staff at the LTAC hospital for caring so lovingly for our Mother.
Services will be held at Martin Funeral Home Central at 3839 Montana Ave. Viewing will be Monday, May 2, 2016 from 9:00am-10:30am with a short sermon from 10:30am to 11:00am. Immediately following, she will be laid to rest at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 4848 Alps.
