Ofelia C. Moreno passed away peacefully on June 20, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Moreno. She is survived by her children and grandchild: Betina, Angelina, Guillermo,Ana, and Christian. Ofelia was a retired Foreign Service officer who loved representing her country. She valued education for all her children and was known to quietly pay for the tuition of some needy children in the community. She was a talented communicator blessed with a great sense of humor. She was spiritual and open to the religious beliefs of others. She believed that courage came from the heart; that self assurance sprang from the heart; that joy, kindness, abundance, and love were attributes of the heart. Ofelia lived her life in quiet prayer.A Memorial Mass will be held July 3rd 2013, 9:30 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Hueco. Burial is private under the direction of Martin Funeral Home Central.
