It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Olga A. Valenzuela, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was born June 21, 1938 to Leandro and Graciela Aguilera and was a proud El Pasoan all her life. Olga was the life of the party as she loved to laugh, dance, tell stories and have a great time!! As her son Johnny used to say, "Mom is a comedian's dream. She will laugh at anything!" Her laugh was infectious and would fill the room. You would hear her laugh and instantly know that Tia Olga was close by.
Olga is survived by her son Leandro Valenzuela (Hilda Valenzuela); and her daughter Mary Jackson; her sister Ernestina Aguilera; her granddaughter Yadhira Alonso, her granddaughter Blanca Y. Alonso, her grandson Hiram Alonso, her granddaughter Aracely Jacqueline Alonso, her granddaughter Candace Valenzuela, her grandson Nicholas Jackson and her grandson John T. Valenzuela. Olga is also survived by her great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Olga was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband Anacleto Valenzuela; her son John Joe Valenzuela and her daughter Blanca Pallarez; her mother Graciela Marin and her father Leandro Aguilera, her brothers Gilberto "Beto" Aguilera, Salvador "Chavo" Aguilera, Mario Aguilera, Benito "Benny" Aguilera; sisters Maria Antonieta Aguilera, Manuela "Nellie" Aguilera and Luisa Nunez.
Visitation for Olga will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with Vigil at 6:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79903.
Mass for Olga will be on Friday, November 26, 2021 at 11:45 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2709 Alabama St. El Paso, TX. 79930. Committal Service to follow at 1:00 PM at Ft Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave. El Paso, TX. 79906.
