Raul Huerta

Raul Huerta, 73, was called to rest by our heavenly father on Friday March 5, 2010. He was a lifelong resident of El Paso and a loving husband and father. He is preceded by his parents Delfino and Elvira Huerta, and his brothers Salvador, Guillermo and sister Esther Huerta. He is survived by his devoted wife and angel on this earth Francisca Huerta as well as by his two sons Jaime and Carlos and daughter Marisela Huerta; who will eternally hold love and admiration for him in their hearts. Other survivors include his brothers Adalberto, and Javier Huerta and his other son Eduardo as well as many nephews and nieces. He also left behind his adoring canine companions Chica and Yoda who were by his side every minute of the day and provided him years of laughter. The Huerta family would like to express their appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to his medical providers and friends who were all a very integral part of his life: Dr. Deluca and his entire caring staff, Dr. Hernandez, Dr. Kidd, Angela Dobrin R.N., and to the nurses of the Outpatient Department at Sierra Medical Center for all their love, care and support which made his illness a bit more tolerable for years. Visitation services will be held at Martin Funeral Home-Central, 3839 Montana Ave El Paso, TX 79903, on Wednesday March 10th from 5-9 p.m. with a vigil service at 7 p.m. A mass will be held on Thursday, March 11th at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2709 Alabama. .
