So sorry to hear of his passing.  Such a wonderful young man.  I use to call him GRONK.  He reminded me of Rob Gronkonski, the great football tight end of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers/New England Patriots.  He reminded me of Gronk because of his size and gentle demeanor.  May you rest in peace.

Still remember driving down to El Paso on Thanksgivings day to pick you up and bring you back to San Antonio. We had a meal at your moms and that day the cowboys and panthers were playing which are our teams. The drive back was the best even though I made you drive my manual car and you had no clue how. So much knowledge you would preach to me and I will forever be grateful you were in my life.  Till we meet again brother.

All of this is so surreal. You are and always will be someone very special in our family. It wasn’t easy for you to call just anyone family but when you did it was because you meant it. You were always honest and true to yourself as you were to others. Some weren’t a fan of it but you didn’t care because you would not change who you were to please absolutely no one! I’m sorry you had to go this way..I’m sorry someone was such a coward to do this to you and your family. You didn’t deserve this. Know you will be missed and loved forever! Rest easy Raul!! Family forever.❤️🙏🏼 My deepest condolences to your loved ones you leave behind.

It’s with a heavy heart that I’m writing this , to my beloved friend Raul. Best friends threw it all but football rivals during cowboys vs eagles games. Always remembering the day I took you to your first ever cowboys game. Unfortunately the eagles lost that day and the best outcome of it all was seeing you so happy with the biggest smile on your face I will never forget! Always looking out for me and my brother Jacob. It saddens me because I have no one to call everyday while I will be working. You were always there to hear me out and just be a good friend! I love you so much you will never be forgotten KING RAUL!

I grew up with Raul ever since Hambric. We would play basketball at my house after school and we went on to go to El dorado. Even after we graduated we stayed close, I would call him my brother and vise versa. I will truly miss him
