Remedios (Caballo) Alvarez, age 92, of El Paso, TX passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025. He was born in Mexico City, MX to Domingo and Ignacia Alvarez. Remedios was a longtime resident of El Paso, TX. His career was primarily as an automotive mechanic and he ran his own mechanic shop in El Paso. He enjoyed watching football, boxing and car racing. He participated in wrestling when he was a young man in Mexico City. He enjoyed racing competitions in lucky car #48. He served in the US Army. He was a social butterfly and enjoyed spending time with friends.
Remedios is proceeded in death by both parents and all of his older siblings. He is survived by his wife Silvia, his sister Guadalupe Alvarez and his children: Marta Alvarez, Rosa Alvarez, Marina Martinez, Omar Alvarez, Christina Alvarez, Luis Alvarez and baby sister. Remedios (Caballo) will be greatly missed by family and friends. His spirits will live on in our heart!
