He was born in Juarez, Mexico on September 24, 1948. Ricardo graduated from Lydia Patterson Institute and received an MD from La Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico. He was married to his wife Magdalena on October 28, 1977.
In his youth, he enjoyed swimming, gymnastics, football and boxing. His passions included gardening, biking, music, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers play, providing free healthcare and joking around with friends and family.
Ricardo is survived by his loving wife Magdalena Egure; his son Richard Egure; 2 daughters: Vanessa Egure and Ashley Egure; 2 grandchildren: Aria Egure and Presley Saenz-Egure; 4 sisters: Elvia, Irma, Minerva and Sylvia; and 3 brothers: Jesus, Angel and Victor.
A visitation for Ricardo will be held Monday, November 20, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Funeraria Del Angel - Evergreen East, 12400 E. Montana Avenue, El Paso, Texas 79938 with a Catholic Chapel Service at 12:30 PM. A committal service will follow at 2:00 PM in Evergreen Cemetery East, also co-located at 12400 E. Montana Avenue, El Paso. There will be a reception in the banquet hall at the funeral home following the committal service from 2:30 to 4:30 pm.
