My heart,  prayers and condolences go out to each of Rudy’s family members.  I am so saddened by his loss. 
“May the choirs of angels come to greet him, may they speed him to paradise. May the Lord enfold him in his mercy. May he find eternal life.”
All my love to Dina, DJ, Isaiah and Ava. You now have an angel and protector.

I’m deeply saddened by the passing of my cousin Rudy and I want to extend my condolences to his wife Dina and my cousins. I have many great stories and memories of Rudy,..  I had not seen Rudy for 15 years but I had not forgotten about him and I have always wished him the very best! Rudy, I love you-R.I.P.

I’m truly sorry for your loss,
Rudy, a true friend and a beacon of light, passed away. From our days of from second grade at Lincoln School on Durazno Street, Rudy’s presence enriched our lives in immeasurable ways.
Rudy’s friendship was steadfast—a bond forged on playgrounds, countless adventures. He knew the value of loyalty and showed it every day. Rudy and I were teammates, played football at Cooley Elementary and Henderson Middle School 
Beyond sports, Rudy had a heart of gold. His kindness was contagious, leaving an indelible mark on everyone he encountered.
As we bid farewell, we hold onto the laughter, the cell Phone conversations, and the way Rudy made me feel like family. His legacy lives on in the stories we shared. 
His favorite phrase (Si me entiendes). 
Rest in peace, my true friend Rudy. May the wrestling matches you watched and enjoyed, be as thrilling in heaven.

My family and I met Rudy through Delfina. I met Delfina in high school science class and then discovered she lived across the street from us.  My parents met Rudy and quickly began a friendship in Spanish.  They shared many stories and Rudy helped my dad fix a leak in our home.  He was always smiling and ready to help.  There were many times when my Dad and Rudy would both be outside in their front lawns and Rudy would cross Edgemere to come chat with my Dad.  When I visited during the holidays, I would occasionally see him at Walgreens and we would chat and catch up.  He always made the time to stop and give you his attention. Thank you Rudy for being such a great across the street neighbor and for making my parents feel welcomed in the neighborhood.  You will be missed!

We love and miss you, Rudy. I’ll miss you saying “hi, mija”, reminding me how much I smiled during basketball games, and making fun of me and DJ’s “corny laughing”. Thank you for being a part of my life and best memories of the last 30 years. ❤️
