Rojelio Lomas

Con profunda tristeza anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestro querido Rojelio Lomas Sr. quien partió rodeado de su familia el 7 de agosto de 2025, a la edad de 89 años. Rojelio fue un esposo fiel y amoroso y un padre, abuelo, y amigo extraordinario. Era conocido por su pasión por la soldadura y la pesca, y fue nuestro inventor/ingeniero personal cuando alguien necesitaba ayuda con cualquier cosa. Su bondad, fortaleza, y amor inquebrantable por su familia conmovieron a todos los que lo conocieron. Con su partida, Rojelio ha sido reunido con su madre Antonia, su hija Estelita, y con sus hermanos Oscar y Mario. Le sobrevive a Rojelio su amada esposa, Asunción Lomas, con quien llego a celebrar 65 años de matrimonio, así como también le sobreviven sus hijos, Lydia (Raymond), Lupe (Adolfo), Teresita (Steve), Rogelio Jr. (Anabel), Andy, y Krystal (Joe). Rojelio vivirá en la memoria de sus 14 nietos y 7 bisnietos. El deja un legado de calidez, integridad, y devoción la cual vivirá en nuestros corazones por siempre. Llevaremos la memoria de Rojelio con amor y orgullo. La velación se llevará a cabo el jueves 14 de agosto de 2025 de 5 p.m. a 9 p.m. con una vigilia a las 7 p.m. en Funeraria Del Angel Evergreen, 12400 Montana Ave, 79938. El servicio en capilla será el viernes 15 de agosto de 2025 a las 9:30 a.m. en la funeraria Evergreen. Su inhumación será en Mount Carmel Cemetery. Habrá procesión al cementerio partiendo de la funeraria a las 11 a.m. el viernes.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Rojelio Lomas Sr. He was surrounded by his family when he passed peacefully in his home on August 7th 2025, at the age of 89. Rojelio was a faithful and loving husband, and an extraordinary father, grandfather, and friend. He was known for his passion in welding and fishing, and was our own personal inventor/engineer whenever anyone needed help with anything. His kindness, strength, and unwavering love for his family touched everyone who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, integrity, and devotion that will live on in our hearts forever. Rojelio was preceded in death by his mother Antonia, daughter Estelita, and brothers Oscar and Mario. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Asuncion Lomas; their six children, Lydia (Raymond), Lupe (Adolfo), Teresita (Steve), Rogelio Jr (Anabel), Andy, and Krystal (Joe); as well as 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. We will all carry his memory forward with love and pride. Visitation will be Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 7 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Evergreen East, 12400 Montana Ave, 79938. Chapel Service will be Friday, August 15, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Evergreen. Rite of Committal will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Procession will depart funeral home at 11 a.m. on Friday.
