Ronald Bruce King, Sr of El Paso, TX, passed away on December 25, 2020 at the age of 79. He was born in Omaha, NE on October 13, 1941 to Harry and Edna King. Ron graduated from Omaha North High School in 1959. He married Sharon Zinn on November 4, 1961. The couple had two sons, Ronald Jr and Randy, before she passed away in June of 1968. On March 13, 1971, Ron married Janice K Lind, mother of David and Daniel. In 1973, their blended family welcomed a daughter, Renee.
Ron had a long career as a management liaison for Vickers Hydraulics in Omaha, NE. He also served as the President of the Vickers Federal Credit Union for the better part of 15 years.
Ron was a member of the Tangier Shrine Hospital Float Parade Order. He enjoyed being a member of the Shriners and sponsoring children who needed the Shriners Hospital.
Ron is survived by his wife, Jan, his children David, Ron Jr, Randy, Daniel, and Renee, his grandchildren, Jacob, Ryan, Joshua, Taylor, Chelsey, Aryca, Jacobi, and Ryleigh, his great-grandchildren, Bailey, Ryker, Maddox, Lucas, Stella, and Amaya, his brothers Bertrand (Pauline) and Dennis (Kathy), and numerous nieces and nephews.
