Veronica was born on March 14th, 1972 to Carlos and Lupe Cordova in El Paso, TX. After Veronica graduated from Bowie High School, she went on to study Administration and clerical skills in business at International Business College.
After her studies, she started her job at Universal Crescent Corporation as an Administrative Assistant, where she met her husband, Fernando Ramirez. She later went on to become a Senior Loan Officer at two companies, most recently at International Finance where she worked for more than a decade.
In 1990, Veronica met Fernando at Universal Crescent Corporation. In 1995, they met Jesus Christ and became Christians. They married in 1996 and went on to have two beautiful daughters, Priscilla and Damaris Ramirez.
Veronica enjoyed traveling around the world, catching a movie at the cinema, and caring for her dogs Mumu, Bella, and Luna. She also enjoyed trying new foods, and spending time with her daughters and newly born granddaughter, Penelope Rose. Veronica loved music, particularly rock, and frequented concerts.
Veronica was preceded in death by her grandfather, Leopoldo V. Morales, her grandmother, Dolores Morales, and her grandmother Micaela Medrano. She is survived by her husband Fernando Ramirez, her daughters Priscilla and Damaris Ramirez, her parents Carlos and Lupe Cordova, her son-in-laws Adrian Carrillo and Derek Olivas, her brothers; Charlie Cordova and his wife Mary Cordova, Samuel Cordova and his wife Angie Rocha, Ezequiel Cordova and his wife Crystal Holguin, her nieces; Kimberly Cordova, Stephanie Cordova, Jazmine Cordova, Michelle Cordova, Samantha Cordova, her nephews; Steven Cordova, Michael Cordova, and Andrew Cordova.
A Visitation for Veronica will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 3:00 AM, with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service will occur Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 12:00 PM, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, Texas 79903. With a Burial to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S. Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas 79915.
The family requests donations for her funeral costs, as well as flowers as Veronica always loved.
