Betty Joann Hutto (Jo), 57, of Leesburg, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026 surrounded by loved ones. Born January 25, 1968 in Eustis, Florida to Jim Carl Hutto and Anita Nuetzmann, she lived her entire life in Central Florida. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter. She found joy in the simple things, her garden, her chickens, drawing, woodworking. Her greatest passion was her children and family.
She is survived by her husband, David Bentz of Leesburg, Fl; Co parent, Robert Russell of Ocklawaha, Fl to whom they shared a life long commitment to their children; daughters, Chelsea Hutto, Laney Bentz, and Skye (Gaige) Tracy, all of Leesburg, Fl; and one Granddaughter, on the way; a sister, Kris (Jeff) Brinson of Umatilla,Fl; a brother, Walter Rodriguez of Eustis, Fl; two nieces, Leah (Kyle) Bowden of Cusseta, Ga, Kayla Casey of Umatilla, Fl; two nephews, Travis (Krista) Casey of Wiggins, MS, Judge Hutto of Cocoa Beach, Fl; a great niece, Madisyn Cassidy of Cusseta, along with many others.
