Donald Joseph Ballash, age 62, of Mount Dora, Florida, passed away on November 17, 2025. Born in Orlando, Florida, Donald made Tavares his home in 1975. He dedicated his career as a Medical Technologist in the healthcare industry, reflecting his commitment to helping others. Donald was also a valued member of the Union Congregational Church in Tavares, Florida. He was preceded in death by his beloved husband, Jonathan Hutzler. He is survived by his loving parents, Albert and Edwina Ballash; his sister, Debora (Brent) Silbernagel; his brother, Robert (Rebecca) Ballash; and his niece, Trinity Ballash. Donald will be remembered for his undying love for his late husband, Jonathan; his adoration for his cats, Punkin, Sam, and Precious; and his extraordinary talent in crafting.
