

Richard (Rick) McLeane, 83, of Ferndale, FL, passed away February 10, 2026. Born on December 17, 1942, in Jacksonville, Florida, Richard was the beloved son of the late Eugene Henry and Olive McLeane. Richard proudly served as a veteran of the US Air Force. Following his military service, he worked diligently as a diesel mechanic, a profession he pursued for most of his life and He taught many young men to work on their own cars. Residing in Ferndale, Florida, Richard was known for his love of wife Teresia of 61 years and his family. He loved to go hunting and fishing and was a long time member of a hunt club in Georgia. He was preceded by his granddaughter Brittany May (2007) and Grandson Brian Vasquez (2021). Survived by his wife, Teresia McLean; daughter, Marie Caughman; grandchildren, Dustin & fiancee, Elizabeth, Jonathon & wife, Alexis, Karisma; great-grandchildren, Carter, Cheyenne, Makayla, Ayden, Aaron; daughter, Lanora Jones; grandchildren, Daniel, Adam, Kaitlan & Tara; great-grandchildren, Aubri, Makenna, Landin, Ashlynn, Colin & Dawson; son, Richard McLean and wife, Amalia; grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua, Shawn & Westin; siblings, James Davis and wife, Carmen, sister, Lillian & husband, Larry Anderson, sister, Sarah Roschetzki; and many nieces and nephews.
