Alexander Memorial Park Flag Dedication Program 2018

Since 1990, families have given gifts to charity in memory of loved ones through this meaningful Memorial Day Remembrance Program. Charities have included: American Red Cross, Shriners' Hospital for Children, Make-A-Wish Foundation, American Cancer Society, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, American Heart Foundation, Evansville's Food Pantry, YMCA, "Operation: Support on the Home Front," the Retired Veterans Memorial Club, and the Evansville Police Department K-9 Unit, "SWIRCA & MORE," "C.J.'s Bus," founded in memory of 2-year old C. J. Martin, who died in Evansville's 2005 tornado, provides rapid response mobile recreation to children who have experienced a disaster. Boy Scout Troop #0393, honorably representing Boy Scouts of America, is our donation recipient this year.
