

Mrs. Qualls was a 1952 graduate of F.J. Reitz High School. Barbara worked at Ideal American Dairy for 39 years. She also worked at Willard Library. Barbara’s greatest joy was spending time with family. Barb was a Christian and attended The Bible Cathedral.
Barbara is survived by her son and daughter in law, Donald and Kay Qualls of Evansville; her grandchildren, Matthew Qualls, Jennifer Walters, and Shelly(Paul)Clark; her great-grandchildren, Nathan Walters, Grayson and Sylas Clark; a brother, Eugene (Sharon) Deutsch; two sisters, Leah Wedding and Georgia (Mick) Mayse. Also surviving are her sister in law, Ruby Barron, and brother in law, Paul Carlisle, along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Charles Edward Qualls in 2006, a daughter, Cynthia and her parents, Raymond and Mildred Deutsch.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, June 2, 2014 at Pierre Funeral Home, Rev. Wendy McCormick officiating. Burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Sunday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
The family would like to thank the nurses, aides and staff of Parkview Care Center for the excellent care provided to mother.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross.
