Bert L. Morgan

Bert was born in San Bernardino, California on March 1, 1921 to the late Bert Leslie Sr. and Lura M. (Potter) Morgan. He graduated from Bosse High School in 1939 and went on to work as a Tool and Die Maker at Faultless Caster for 59 years until his retirement in 1998. Bert enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family.

Bert is survived by his daughter, Mary Louise Brown (Gary) of Evansville, IN; sons, David Morgan (Somone) of Peoria, IL, and James Morgan (Karen) of Springfield, IL; grandchildren, Adriane Southwick (Zack), Crystal Markley (Jim), Dan Morgan (Rachel), Ryan Morgan, Elijah, Josh and Sam David, and Kevin and Lindsey Morgan. Bert is also survived by seven great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Bert is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Mayes in 2008; by his parents; brothers, Bill and David Morgan; and by his sisters, Anne Morgan and Juanita Speicher.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 21, 2015 at Alexander Memorial Park with Pastor Jeff Smith officiating.

Friends may visit from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN, 47711.
