Jeanne was born on December 4, 1959 in Evansville, Indiana to Barbara “Bobbie” Jean (Friedrich)
and Carl F. Werner, Jr. She graduated from Central High School in 1978. Jeanne formerly worked
at ResCare for 21 years. She enjoyed being around her family and was a source of comfort to
those who knew her. Jeanne enjoyed reading and drawing. She loved her Mama very much.
Jeanne is survived by her mother, Barbara ”Bobbie” Werner; her siblings, Michael Werner
(Deanna), Christopher Werner (Kim), Sandee Werner; nieces and nephew, Jessica Baumeyer
(Brian), Carly Jo Werner, Allison, Addison, and Mason Vanzant; great niece, Brielle Baumeyer;
uncle, Rick Hicks, all of Evansville, IN; several cousins and extended family. Also surviving are
aunts, Lorene Strzelczyk, Kathy Friedrich; and many cousins and extended family in Texas; and
her best friend, Anne Harris.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her father, Carl F. Werner, Jr.; aunts, Bonnie, Carlene; uncles,
Gibby, Milton, Johnny; and her grandparents.
A celebration of Jeanne’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Browning
Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711 with Pastor Jeff Keenan and Pastor Ray
Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Browning
Funeral Home and again from 9:00 AM until service time on Thursday.
