Kevin Dunigan

Kevin was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on January 17, 1964 to Larry and Sharon Dunigan. He was a 1982 graduate of Reitz High School and later graduated from the automotive department at Oakland City College. Kevin served as a petty officer in the United States Navy, where he was stationed in Mayport, Florida. He was deeply patriotic and proud to serve his country. Kevin worked at Holiday Health Care. He loved spending time fishing and boating, especially in the Florida Keys, and was a lover of animals of all kinds.

Kevin is survived by his parents, Larry and Sharon Dunigan of Evansville, Indiana; sons, Mitchel Dunigan of Illinois and Chase Dunigan of Newburgh, Indiana; brother and sister-in-law, Derek and Leah Dunigan of Evansville, Indiana; granddaughter, Hayden Rose Dunigan; and niece and nephew, Claire and Graham Dunigan.

Kevin is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lowell and Helen Dunigan and Howard and Ella Miner.

Private funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 13, 2015 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Avenue, Evansville, IN 47711. Entombment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Per the family's request, there will be no visitation.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Vanderburgh Humane Society, 400 Millner Industrial Drive, Evansville, IN 47710 or to a charity of your choice.

The family extends their thanks to Heritage Hospice for outstanding care during Kevin's illness.
