
Madeline R. Hall, 90, Indianapolis, formerly of Kokomo, passed away at 10:58 am on Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at Brookdale Fall Creek in Indianapolis. She was born on April 19, 1926, in Evansville, the daughter of the late David & Emmarena G. (Schmidt) Brown. Madeline met James M. Hall, Jr. in Evansville while he was on leave from the Navy in early 1949, they were married on August 15, 1949 and he preceded her in death on March 31, 2013.
Madeline was a 1944 graduate of Reitz High School. She then went on to graduate in 1947 from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. Following graduation from Moody, she served in various capacities with Presbyterian Churches. Madeline spent most of her life being very attentive to the needs of her family as a homemaker. She was a member of the Indianapolis Columbia Club, the Zionsville Presbyterian Church, and the Kokomo Country Club.
Madeline is survived by her children, Marc Daniel (Mary) Hall and Faith Dawne Epperson.
Madeline was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James, and siblings, Milton Brown and Emmarena Rickard.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 West Lincoln Road, Kokomo, with Pastor Becky Sundquist officiating. Burial will be on Monday in Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery in Evansville at 12:00 pm Evansville time, with Rev. Larry Newburg officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11:00 am until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
