

Kathy retired by Deaconess Hospital as a Visitor Assistant in 2002. She was a member of Howell General Baptist Church and was a volunteer at the Evansville Rescue Mission. Kathy was an avid reader and enjoyed bowling.
She was preceded in death by her husband, D. Glenn Lang in 2001.
Surviving Kathy are her sons, David (Sheila) Lang of Davenport, IA, Robert (Addie) Lang of Abilene, TX, Bruce (Gina) Lang and Ken (Sharon) Lang and her daughter, Jeanne (Chris) Winiger, all of Evansville. Also surviving are grandchildren, Nicholas, Elizabeth, Chris, Michael, Rickey, Tony, and Amanda Lang, Amy Lang-McGarrh, April Curl, Abbey Schnur, Ian Weatherford, Leigha Vincent, Katie Droege, Denise Acton, Jon McClintock, Carston Winiger, Paul, Gary, Joel, Mark and Carlos Flores, Jr., Debra Mayes, Monica Butler, and Cora Rivera, 53 great grandchildren, 34 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Most important to Kathy were holidays and gatherings with her family. Her friends were special treasures. The family wishes to thank her friends and church family for their support of visits and cards during this time.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Pierre Funeral Home, Rev. Terry Gamblin officiating. Private burial will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
